Hours of Operation [HOO]
Figure supports 3 types of hours of operation:
1. General HOO
These hours are displayed in the footer of the online ordering website.
[1] Log into Figure Manage website with your credentials and go to Management -> Location & Services.
[2] Open the detail of the location you want to adjust HOO for.
[3] Set the hours of operation for each day. You can mark the day as ‘24H‘ which means the store is open all day. Or you can add separate sections for the day by using the ‘+‘ button.
[4] Hit Save.
2. Custom Temporary HOO
These are special hours that override the general HOO. They can be used for national holidays and special occasions. It is possible to set them for the whole year. Upcoming days will be always displayed in the footer of your online ordering website – above the general HOO.
Use case:
A restaurant is closed for Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve.
[1] Log into Figure Manage website with your credentials and go to Management -> Location & Services.
[2] Open the detail of the location you want to adjust Custom HOO for.
[3] Find the section Custom Temporary Hours of Operation.
[4] Choose a day in the calendar.
[5] Set the hours of operation for that day. You can add separate sections for the day by using the ‘+‘ button. When you turn off the switch, it means the store will be closed that day.
[6] Hit Save.
3. HOO for Pickup and Delivery
If you have Pick Up and Delivery enabled on your online ordering website, you can set separate HOO just for them. The Pickup/Delivery HOO will override the General HOO.
Pickup/Delivery HOO are not displayed on the website. After you enable and set them up, Pickup/Delivery HOO will allow or disallow customers to order from your website in the specified time slots.
Use case:
A restaurant is too busy during lunchtime. There is no time to prepare orders for the delivery. The manager decides to disable Delivery during lunchtime, between 11 am and 2 pm. Hence, just Pickup is available for diners when they order between 11 am and 2 pm from the website
[1] Log into Figure Manage website with your credentials and go to Settings -> Online Ordering.
[2] Find the Delivery or Pickup section.
[3] Find the line ‘Set Hours Of Operation for Delivery/Pickup’, mark the checkbox and hit ‘Modify‘.
[4] Sett HOO. You can mark the day as ‘24H‘ which means the store is open all day. Or you can add separate sections for the day by using the ‘+‘ button.
In the following example:
Monday: Delivery is disabled for lunchtime (11 am – 2 pm).
Tuesday – Friday: Delivery is enabled only for the afternoon (2 pm – 8 pm)
Saturday – Sunday: Delivery is enabled all day.
